The European Association for Coal and Lignite or EURACOAL has members from fourteen EU member states and other countries on paths towards EU membership. In the latest edition of World Coal magazine (2023 issue 2), the association gives an overview of the industry it represents and examines upcoming EU legislation of importance for the future of coal and lignite mining and use in Europe.
